The most enthralling wave theater on Java is G-land. Truth be told, it has recently became a benchmark against which all other waves are assessed. Endless, impeccable, and steady, G-Land is best reached via a pontoon from Bali.
For something less audacious, attempt the long, delicate sand bottom point in Batu Karas. It is appropriately tailored for novices and tenderfoots; however it is a touch less engaging for skilled surfers. There are couple of decent lodgings and two or three surf schools as well

Immediately south of Bali is the archipelago of Nusa Tenggara, which is dotted with surf spots. Lombok which is the closest neighbor to Bali is most frequented by surfers and the premium surf spot here is the Desert Point; which could stand any surf spot of the world on any given day. The waves here are by and large high, so it is suggested to novices to keep a safe distance from the off-shores. For something gentle, attempt Don or Ekas, both of which are on the southern bank of Lambok.
